The layout of our kitchen makes the counter depth refrigerator the best option. This does reduce the amount of space available especially in the refrigerator. Space for taller items is somewhat limited. However for me and my wife this is really a minor inconvenience. The biggest complaint we have is with the bottom drawer of the refrigerator. To pull open the drawer you have to open both refrigerator doors. It would have been good if the bottom drawer was split into two drawers. Aside from that the motor is very quiet the temperature is consistently maintained and we are happy with our fridge. We did need to replace the craft ice maker. Fortunately this happened while the warranty was still in effect. The repairman said this is a very common problem with LG. He also asked if we replaced the compressor. We havent but there was an implied warning in his question.

Within 2 months the ice maker failed. The customer service is so poor it took more than 1 month to fix. By far the worst customer service that I have experienced from a company of this size.

We love our new LG Counter depth frig. We especially like the icemaker that makes 4 types of ice. It is in the door panel which saves room up top and dumps ice into trays in the freezer. Our model is very sleek and modern looking without handles and it lights up when you get close to it which is great at night.

I purchased the refrigerator from Lowes about a year ago. IT is a great looking SS appliance that goes well in my kitchen. This model does not have any door handles but recessed in the top and bottoms of the doors to pull open. At first I thought that I would not like that feature but now I like it much better that my previous unit with handles. I also enjoy the 3 ice cube shapes that it can make using the spherical golf ball sized ice for drinks. The doors are magnetic my old unit was not so I can now put up my magnets that I have not been able to for 8 years life of the old fridge. The space between the fridge and freezer illuminates when you walk by presumable to find the recessed handles but not needed once you have the unit for a day or two.

The paddle on the door to dispense water/ice gets stuck leaving you in a panic to try to get unstuck before having a flood on the floor. No human can be found at LG to help with the problem.

We really love this refrigerator. Tons of space for a counter depth refrigerator. It also fits perfect in our space. The three drawers in the freezer are very convenient. The craft ice is great too. No complaints on this purchase.

I have had the dishwasher about a month. Pros: quiet cleans great easy to use like the app. very pleased with it.
Con: I dont like the utensil basket. It has two tops that can flip open but the handle gets in the way it needs three and all the holes to put utensils in are the same opening size some need to be bigger to accommodate bigger handles.

Very good so far. The lack of exposed handles takes some getting used to and I worry that the family pulling from the top of the door may eventually cause undue wear on the hinge. Also the air filter required a new cover because ours was apparently not designed to receive the replacement filters. It turns out this was a known issue that took some searching to solve but once we submitted our claim for a new cover it was handled efficiently. LOVE the craft ice Good unit.

Even though I am thrilled with the diversity in sizes for the ice the huge balls take forever to make. It took over 48 hours to make 3 ice balls Also the big door where the water and ice are is too heavy at closing. I have to pay very close attention in closing it
The freezer capacity is quite small compared to a side-by-side model.

This has been the worse experience I have ever had trying to buy and buying a working refrigerator The first refrigerator only the light workedmy food spoiled and their was absolutely no refrigeration LG told me to chat on social media after I left a one star review I did and nothing happened to solve the issue When you read to reach out to them you think they are going to help resolve any and all issues So if you see that statement on reviews they just tell you to call the location where you bought it Kinda misleading Working on my third refrigerator coming soon I hope this will be the last one LG told me they would send me a water filter then changed their decision and told me to wait for the new refrigerator I just cant win this time Everyone I asked before I bought said LG is one of the best maybe they had a bad run on manufacturing

Love the refrigerator but the craft ice maker failed a few weeks after we got it. To their credit they were easy to get a hold of and fixed it under warranty with zero hassle. Things break how you support them matters and LG stood by the product. Thats all you can ask for.

Day #14 and I still like this French Door frig. The Craft ice is all-some The light that comes on when you walk by is great at night when you want a late night snack. It never makes any noise. The draws in the freezer section are the perfect size. I do wish the inside water filter work on the Ice makers as well as the water dispenser. That is the only reason I did not give it a 5 star rating. My fix for that was to install another inline filter before the water connection on the back of the unit.

This is our second LG in a month. The doors were not aligned up properly therefore refrigerator did not work right. They tried to fix alignment could not so sent me a second one. Home Depot was for the most part helpful but we were met with extreme rudeness and nastiness trying to explain the problem to LG.
We paid lots of money and entitled to a perfect fridge. I love the space look features it keeps food well ice is plentiful water filter works well but would not recommend buying a LG or this model. It still is not aligned up perfectly. I would send it back but am tired of all the hassle these people have given us while this is under warranty.

Overall I am happy with this purchase. The specialty ice is a huge factor in my household. I did have an issue with the freezer fan assembly causing the ice makers all 3 to stop working and water to leak onto the floor. I feel this should not have occurred in a year old product at this price point. Warranty did cover the repair just expect to jump through a few hoops before a technician is sent out. The repair took place approximately 2 months ago and we are back to being happy with the refrigerator. My concern is how long will the repair last

This is my second LG Refrigerator. Only replaced my old one because I was renovating my kitchen and went from white to stainless. LOVELOVELOVE this refrigerator Bigger brighter roomier and perfect size for my kitchen The ice options and the roomy freezer are awesome Having the water filter in the door is so much better for me as I am vertically challenged

First the good news. Its larger than comparable counter depth refrigerators and seems to make ice a bit faster in the main icemaker.
Now the rest. The shelves are not very adjustable. In order to have one with enough clearance to hold tall items like wine bottles we needed to lower one of the top shelves. When doing so we needed to remove another as there was too little clearance and no where to move it. We removed the shelve that slides back way. It does allow for taller items but the back half of the top and bottom shelves become inaccessible.
The icemaker in the door only fills full at most. There is a lot of wasted space. When I called Customer Service said to reduce the refrigerator and freezer temp and select the Ice Plus option. Not sure how much it helps and it only lasts one day so we need to remember to select it every day.
The additional ice makers in the freezer with 2 sizes of ice is a great feature especially as the door ice bin empties quickly. However the trays dont fill completely and take several days to refill from empty.
Finally as it is counter depth it would be nice if the hinges were designed to allow the doors to open without hitting the adjacent cabinet doors. Ive seen other refrigerators with this feature. We need to move the refrigerator a bit further into the kitchen space to preserve the cabinet doors and allow the refrigerator doors to open more fully. Still cant open them to a full 90-degree angle.

Our French door fridge was delivered in January and we started having issues with the in door ice maker in June. Apparently the fan moving cold air to the door ice was not operating correctly. It took a bit of gyrations to finally get someone out to replace the fan but it has been replaced. We are on a wait and see mode at this point. For a 5-month old appliance we should not gave to go through this already. Vfingers crossed.

We love the fridge theres no doubt about that. Its got a ton of space in both the refrigerator and freezer and the fact that it gives you three different types of ice is a real bonus. We did have the fan go out after only 6 Months but they got someone out to fix it right away since it was still under warranty. The motion light on the freezer took a little getting used to if youre not used to having your Refrigerator light up every time you walk by. Otherwise it does the job it needs to And it looks great too

We bought this fridge about 2 months ago. So far so good. The fridge is counter depth but seems much bigger than our last one. We love all the different ice types as our family uses ice a lot. We havent ran out of ice when combining all the different ice it makes. We like the compact door ice maker since it saves so much space. Only complaint would be lining up the doors. They are still not perfectly aligned and we have adjusted them to the max with the fridge being level.

Its okay. It takes getting use to having no handles. Even though it says finger print resistant there are finger prints. The left door is heavier so it closes harder and noisier. Its not easy to configure a tall shelf in the interior. The four ice cubes types is okay but I would never have chosen this one on that basis. Freezer compartment is good.

We have had frig for 10 months.
Pro: ice making features are very good cubic capacity is good. Freezer drawers are well designed.
Con: IMPOSSIBLE to keep the front clean and free of fingerprints air filter system ineffective as it does not filter onion and garlic smells effectively which causes the ice to smell like onions and garlic. Replacing the air filter has been difficult because the replacement filter does not fit properly. Customer Service sent the wrong replacement filter part. Found info on how to order a new part online.
Conclusion: Never will buy a frig without door handles again. LG model we purchased has poor air filtering. Like the cubic capacity and freezer drawer design.

I bought this refrigerator in April 2024 it was awesome until my craft ice stop working. Come to find out the water hose used to attach to the water line is too long and my spouse had to adjust it to get the craft ice and water working again from the dispenser. I love the refrigerator but the only draw back I see is that you have to open both doors to pull out one drawer which causing air to penetrate the interior of the fridge which could cause problems later on.

Interesting how my last review was never published. We loved the refrigerator. Until it was 4 months old started to leak refrigerant making an awful sound and smell. After weeks on the phone with multiple LG people I was told I would get a loss of food reimbursement. It has now been 2 months no loss of food reimbursement what so ever and upon further phone calls I am told I am not eligible for one. Im sorry what? What a sham I mean shame. Ok really both apply. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. It will save you from major brain damage. Both figuratively and quite possibly literally.

I bought this fridge 5 months ago. It has peformed as expected. We bought for the multiple different ice options although we do not use them all as much as I thought. I do like the shelves in the freezer drawers. That is a different setup from out last fridge. Overall I would recommend this product.

I like that we have a new frig I like the ice cube options. Things I dont care for...the long produce door which means that we have to open both doors to pull out this drawer. The freezer has two pull out drawers one holds two ice bins so its limited to using for other items and the other doesnt have much height so again its limited to what can go there. Otherwise the rest of the space is like a bottomless pit. Lastly trying to adjust the settings gets complicated since theres not a easy to read manual with simply how to instructions. Were still trying to figure out the temperature control adjustment and getting the refrigerator balanced so it doesnt wiggle when closing the doors.
