I've had this dryer about 2 weeks now, and I can honestly say that it is a major step up from the front load Electrolux dryer I bought 13 years ago. More bells and whistles, and much more efficient at drying in shorter periods of time. And the steam drying feature is super great with my husbands work shirts. I recommend getting a matching pedestal for it. The drum on this one is super deep, and if you don't like bending over really far to retrieve anything the pedestal is a must! Hopefully it will last another 10+ years like my last one did.

My previous dryer was VERY old, but I was attached to it. I kept repairing it, but finally the day came to replace it. I am so glad we found this one. It is quick, quiet, and efficient. Seriously, what else could you ask for? Easy to use and I have a weird love for the style of the lint catcher. Works so well (and so much better than my old one!)

The transition to front loading has been smooth and the machines have been great. Will not go back to the old way. Working smoothly and they are VERY quiet. Pricing was pretty fair for the quality that we are seeing.

The machine is quiet, large capacity, and washes well. Very easy to use. There are so many options, it can be overwhelming until you find the ones that work for you. The nice one page explanation sheet of what all the options are is nice to keep by the machine for reference as you are becoming familiar with it.

Would recommend this machine! EaY to use, lots of good features, exactly what I expect from a brand with a long standing reputation. I initially purchased another company™™s products and they could not deliver the product- literally. I did have a leak in the steam valve, it™™s fixed! Linen trap could be designed better IMO. Still love it though!

I love the purchase of this machine. I was impressed When I found out that there was a washer and dryer by Electrolux, many years ago, about 40+ years I purchased aVacuum cleaner and up to today I still have it, and it still works as if it's a new. And it's been through many renovations. worth the money spent. So I'm looking forward to having my washer and dryer in myFamily for many years also. Best purchase ever.

from day one we have had trouble with our dryer we had it replaced 2 x's and had the repair man here twice sometime is rubbing very bad and can be heard all through the house please fix it or give me a new one I wish I never bought it I've used it and the side panel gets hot from the robing

I love that it holds larger load and the selections you have depending on what you are drying. The dryer selects the time needed to dry the load you are dryihng. Also, everything comes out dry the first time, no need to run the dryer twice.

This is my second attempted review of my Electrolux electric dryer purchased in July 2020. I was hoping my dryer would last a minimum of 10 years but instead 19 months in the main electric board suddenly caught fire, breaking the entire unit and putting my family and home at risk. This is just not supposed to happen and is a manufacturing defect, period. I am disappointed in the company for not caring and completely dismissing our loss of investment. I invested in Electrolux believing the product would last much, much longer.

The washer amazing after the spin cycle is completed you cannot even ring a drop of water out or the clothes. It's quiet you do not ever know it's running. This washer also cleans better than my old Kenmore oasis.The dryer is amazing cloths come out fresh and dry. The steam feature rocks.

My clothes are dry!!! My previous direct dry dryer lasted many years, however it stared to make a loud noise. However after reading many reviews I chose the Electrolux stackable because the worse reviw was that lint collected in front. The lint catcher catches as my previous dryer however it has a door that pushes open when sliding the contained lint catcher back into the dryer. I love that fact that the dryer lint is collected in a rectangular basket that opens to clean out. The remaining lint the may not catch goes into the vent hose and any small fuzz may collect most likely at the lower window sill from static. All I do is use a damp paper towel to wipe out the basket and the scant fuzz from the lower window sill. Easy to do and my clothes dry in 40 minutes for mixed load.

Only complaint is lint filter. It is difficult to remove & reinstall in door. The amount of lint that is left in the filter after cleaning & around the filter is very disappointing.

I have only had this dryer for about a month, so I can't speak for long term use, but so far it's great!! Clothes come out wrinkle free, and we haven't even used the steam function yet! I have had the Electrolux front load washer since 2014, and have had zero problems with it. It has been used at least 4 to 5 days a week and does a great job. So when my Frigidaire dryer went out, I decided to give this dryer a try, I'm hoping I will get the same long term use out of it like I have the washer.

We looked at many dryers after returning a faulty Midea dryer failing after just two uses. In searches Electrolux came up as one of the most reliable brands so we gave it a try. You can tell this is quality equipment straight away. Small things like the lint trap engineered like a butterfly enclosure so the lint stays trapped until it needs to be safely released into the trash can and NOT all over your clothes is a nice touch. Geeky to notice but I appreciate good engineering when I see it.Also worth mentioning is the perfect steam option and quick 15 min dry when you need something dry quickly. I also liked the way the exhaust vent is streamlined into the compact design. This is a 8 cubic foot model and compared to some other brands that need to be side vented to fit, the Electrolux has a welcome smaller foot print.Overall I am very pleased with the purchase and highly recommend this dryer.

Rather than sticking with LG (our previous dryer) we decided to shop around and look at cost and efficiency ratings. We're so glad this led us to Electrolux. The different features on this dryer are incredible. The steam cycle is a favorite, the static guard element is essential since I use dryer balls instead of sheets. I am finding the laundry process to be a joy now after years of requiring a double run with my early 2000s model Maytag.

I'll start by saying that, following a string of bad washer/dryer combos, we saved up enough to splurge a bit on these appliances. I was torn between a SpeedQueen and the Electrolux models but it honestly came down to the washer size and I'm sort of glad it did. First, the only Con I have:The only complaint I have is the two year warranty; 2 years isn't a phenomenal indication of standing by your product (the SpeedQueens, for example, was 7 for the model I wanted), and I only made the decision after the store offered a 4 year extension on those two years for a few hundred extra dollars. The washer and dryer are more than capable of washing and drying a King down comforter (albeit, on its own) which I used to have to have dry cleaned. The features, too, helped us pick these models and the accessories (14 inch stands for a basement that has, in the past, flooded) give me a bit extra peace of mind. They're both exceptionally quiet compared to my Amana or Samsung washers/dryers and they self turn off to save energy. On the whole, the extra washing volume, features, accessories, and, most importantly, the extra 4 years of warranty I was able to purchasse via the store put the Electrolux slightly above the SpeedQueens and I've had no complaints thus far.
