The only change I would make is in the top grates. I would make it where you can remove the outside grates without disturbing the center one. It would be easier to clean.

We've had this gas range for a few months now, five burgers is really nice to have, we love the dark color and dark color grates. Always looks clean! The front burners boil water superfast, having four different size burners pretty much covers anything we ever need to cook.

I had another range picked out and had my husband along when I went to store to get it and he saw the "Made in USA" sign on this one and that did it for him. I was kind of disappointed but the clerk said Whirlpool was much easier to get repaired in the event something went wrong.....So I reluctantly purchased this one. I can't say I love it but I can't find anything I really don't like about it either. The black top is harder to keep looking good, but that makes me clean it more so I guess that's a good thing. Bakes excellent too.

I was very excited to have a gas range again after 33 yrs. It works fine but I don't have the flame control my previous ranges had.Both large burners are in front now and often times I need a lower flame than the LOW settings allow. I then have to put my large pot or pan on the back small burner to get a lower flame. Very frustrating.

The oven door was defective - the door was not installed properly which caused the hinges to break after just 6 weeks. Whirlpool will not replace the oven and it is taking 3 weeks - so far - to wait for replacement parts. I had only owned the oven for 6 weeks and about 6 uses and I can not use it as the oven door needs to be tied up to keep it partially closed and a makeshift cardboard support to push in the button to keep the interior light off.

The oven door was defective and broke within 6 weeks of purchase. Whirlpool refused to replace. I am unable to use the appliance and the door will not shut without being tied up and cardboard inserted to hold the button for the light so the light stays off.

This appliance is Made of flimsy material. I believe the oven design creates a safety hazard. When the oven is on, there's a heat vent underneath the stove knobs, the knobs get very hot.
The bottom drawer Wobbles and Bends when you pull it out. This appliance for me it's an unacceptable rating.

This was a conversion from electric to gas for me. The appliance is very good though I do Not feel as well made as my 2004 purchase. I do Not expect this to last as long which is regrettable as Whirlpool has been my go to ever since my parents bought appliances. Looks like they have fallen to the less quality material. Though it is still a great product.

Yes, you can cook in it.
But just after 4-5 months of use the letters and writings by the knobs came off. We only cook once a week and now its really hard to know which one tuns on which burner without the signs.

Cooking performance, especially the convection has been excellent. Top burner configuration gives you plenty of options. We like how cool the oven door stays compared to our older unit. Haven't had to use the self clean feature yet so can't comment on that. Top grates are a little heavy and bulky to move around for cleaning, but I suspect all the newer ones are similar. Electronic keypad easy to understand.

After a year of owning a lesser Wp model..one without self cleaning, difficult to clean top, broiler on the floor, cheaply made too wide oven racks, oven light that never worked...I bit the bullet and bought this model.
I am very pleased. Everything works, I can broil again, the convection feature is a plus and the outside of the stove does not get hot when you bake! Clean up is very easy. Great stove!

The bottom drawer is a little small and it's a pain taking the grates off to clean it after every use, but it has been working well and looks great. Also the timer appears to work in only minute increments but I'm getting used to it.

I bought this oven last month and when I installed it myself I noticed not only was the corner all bent up, but the temperature of the oven is off and depending on which baking type you choose the temperature varies on how far off it is.
