I never in my life after so many year buying all my appliances whirlpool brand and my model # WFE540H0ES after serveal use the top glass stained real bad and the inside over glass in between the inside and outside glass stained real bad how that happen I have no idea I need to file a complain and have my stove replaced or services at no cost after all the money I paid for this equipment.

I bought the stove about 3 years ago and it has caught electrical fire 3 times!!!! I bought the extended warranty and they keep changing the part and it happens 3 months later! Now they want to keep replacing the wire making me live with a stove that can catch my whole house on fire!!! My poor kids were exposed to electrical fire smell 3 times!!!! Very disappointed.

I purchased this range a little over 3 years ago and after one month was disappointed. I contacted Whirlpool to explain that I felt my ceramic cook top was defective and I could see what looked like water drops under the left fron burner. I also contacted them when I first cleaned the oven because it did not come lean and no matter what I did the glass inside is all spotted and they told me to scrub it with the sponge provided and now it is still spotted and scratched. I was led to believe it was a self cledaning oven the same as the accubake over I had previously, well needles to say it is not. It is a very difficult stove to keep clean the the oven does not heat evenly even with the convection. I do not recommend this oven. I have written Whirlpool numerous time starting back in 2014 and I have only received a phone call telling me that that is the way that type of stove is. I will be sure to not purchase this type of oven again. I am going to check the temperature with an oven thermometer and while it is still under warranty see of my oven is even heating correctly.

Wife choose it and She loves it. Third smooth top stove we have and the Convection Oven works great! The only problem is the surface scratches very easy. This is not the first kind we use and we noticed that.

The top is very hard to clean. The kids (teens) cooked and didn't clean and food splatters before cooking. Now it's stuck on and the nylon scrubbers clean ok but not completely. The aqualift in the oven is a joke. It's low heat and doen't just burn it off. Leaves everything still behind.

I got this oven for Mother's Day. And I've always wanted a convection oven. It has been amazing for baking. cooking in general but my baking has been coming out absolutely amazing. I just love everything about this oven. it Cooks better than anything I've ever owned and it is so easy to keep it clean I love not having to use chemicals to clean the inside of my oven.

Within the first year the control pad had multiple buttons (bake, temp down) quit working and fortunately was covered by warranty.
Now with the stove still less than 3 years old the bake element shorted and blew a gaping hole through the bottom pan. It looked like a welder going off and shooting sparks everywhere. Fortunately we were there to turn the stove off as it didn't trip a breaker. Also glad the stove was fairly clean and no residue was built up in the bottom that would have surely caught fire.

I have had the stove gor several weeks now and am loving the flexibility and features it has with the warming burner and varied burner sizes as well as convection. The only drawback I have seen is the drawer is smaller than I am used to and also lower to the floor, which means that I have to move my mat to open it. Small thing though. Love how large the oven is too.

During a kitchen renovation we bought all new Whirlpool appliances because we had used them before and liked the product a lot. I specifically asked the dealer for a self cleaning oven and this was recommended. I honestly had no idea until today that this oven isn't truly self cleaning. I thought it was a regular self cleaning oven until I read the directions for cleaning it. I followed them but knew that two cups of water at the bottom of the oven wouldn't work. It got the very bottom of the oven clean enough, but the sides and window are still greasy, and I'll have to put in a lot of elbow grease to clean them. I'm very disappointed. This oven should not be sold
as a self cleaning oven. Otherwise I like the product.

I cook a lot. The top is fine & the oversized cook area is great for big pots. However the extra large oven is really not needed. It's too deep. The aqua lift (who in the world came up with this?) does NOT CLEAN! Had to bend over to reach the bottom to scrub it with Brillo. Talk about going back 30 Years! And my biggest gripe is the smaller drawer. Because of the deeper oven the drawer is so small I can't fit the pans that I did in my previous oven. And that wasn't very old. The oven board died after a power outage. Don't have any other space for those pans. Oh and the convection isn't real convection. Not much difference from regular cooking. We got a good price on this range but I would recommend you do your homework before purchasing.

I bought a few months ago. I tried cooking one pizza in it. Was hoping the Convection fan would help cook it more evenly than my old standard oven. Pizza was still cold in the top center and done of the bottom. Maybe I need to experiment and try different rack heights? True convection ovens cost quite a bit more but I'm thinking I should've paid the extra $ for a true convection oven.

Love the convection & warming burner. Haven't used the aqualift cleaning but am excited to try it. Lost a star because the power cord wasn't tightened onto the unit and almost caused a fire, was an easy fix but had to replace the power cord and could have been really bad.

I have owned this model for over a year. As others have mentioned, the stovetop is extremely difficult to clean and scratches very easily. Prior to this range I had a smooth stovetop range for 20 years and it held up very well. I am so disappointed in the quality of this model. And as others have mentioned, the bottom drawer is cheaply made (the glide rollers are made out of plastic versus metal) and the storage space is limited. One salesman that I spoke with while I was appliance shopping told me that customers weren't using the drawer so manufacturers have reduced the depth to allow for more oven space. For me that space is occupied with skillets that I use daily. I have also noticed that the metal finish on the bottom drawer dulls frequently and requires more polishing than my other Whirlpool appliances. Besides it's outdated color I miss my old range!

I am so unhappy with this purchase. I bought a new home and new appliances and this stove is thee worst. The bottom drawer is painfully small and doesn't allow maximum storage. The stove top is the worst to keep clean. It always looks dingey and dull. The aqua lift "self cleaning" DOES NOT CLEAN AT ALL. After running the cycle 3 times my oven is still stained and looks awful.

I've had this stove for almost 3 weeks. I really don't like electric stoves. I would much rather have a gas stove, however, we can't have them in our community. That said, this electric is much better than the previous one we had. The stove top heats up nd cools down much faster. So for an electric stove this one is very good.
