I just got this brand new stove and it takes me more than 30 minutto boil some water. I call for the warranty and the technician came and told me that the stove works like this it has something that cycles the burner and because of this feature it take a little longer to cook. I wish that I was told this before getting this stove, because in that case I would've buy something better. I contact whirlpool to see if there is a way to replace or so they can give me my money back and just like any other big company they won't lose, I got told that their warranty doesn't cover that. So here I am with a stove that takes a lot to cook something properly and without been able to get my money back.

Door Keeps Falling Apart

Two screws hold the whole outer glass panel and handle. Parts are outrageously expensive. Tired of having to rebuild door over and over. Screws coming loose. Inside light blew up with first month.

I bought this four years ago and not happy I did. The outer stainless/glass door kept falling apart to where it broke. I can't find parts for this stainless steel door.

I purchased this range about 1 year ago. The oven heats quickly and cooks evenly. Easy to clean glass top. Great basic electric range.

The builder placed this in our remodeled vacation home 3 yrs ago. We have used this only when we are there 6 times a yr mostly long wkends.Oven stopped working! We called for repair ...cost too much to repair that I refused! We can cook right now but no oven!Also...we found out its not self clean! What's with that???We do NOT recommend.

What keeps me from giving this range a better rating is the poorly designed bottom storage drawer. When you pull it out it always comes out crooked. The same happens when closing it. You would think for a $600.00 plus range the engineers could have designed a better storage drawer. The problem is there is no tracks or guides supporting the full length of the drawer. There are two small guides on the front but that's it. Nothing to guide the drawer when you are opening and closing it for support. Also I might mention, and I've noticed this on a lot of stoves, is why the storage drawers never have a back on them. Seems like the bakeware is always falling out the back when you get to a certain height.

Nice to look at, easy to use and affordable. Just wish for the money that it was self cleaning. That's really hard to believe that for $450 it isn't a self cleaning model. Easy to install. Will look into purchasing the 5 yr unlimited warranty due to previous reviews noting that this appliance only lasted approximately 2 years and was costly to fix.

I've only owned this oven for a few weeks. The cooktop seems very slick & shiny. I'm worried about it scratching easily. But this oven- on sale- was almost $200 cheaper than other brands cheapest model. So far the oven works excellent as well as the cooktop. I hope it continues to do so.

Cleans easily, even the cooktop. The digital readouts are handy. The oven cooks evenly and cooktimes are accurate.

I have had this stove for a year now and it has worked wonderful. You do need to be careful with the cook top. It does seem to scratch easily. Overall a great stove!

In less than two years of normal use, the oven handle fell off. what up with that? We want to buy american made products and belive the whirlpool brand to typify excellence...not so this time....and you can't guess the cost to have the oven handle repaired.Great product if you get an unlimited 5-year warranty!
