I bought this with a suite of Whirlpool appliances for a new house that was being built. I'm reasonably pleased with the other appliances. But not this dishwasher!
While the exterior appearance has relatively clean lines and nice appearance, that it's about the only thing this machine has going for it. It feels cheap and brittle inside, the control buttons on top are mushy feeling when pressed, and the racks are poorly designed for flexibility. It also takes forever to wash dishes even moderately well...although I understand that crappiness in their basic functions is a component of many modern appliances compared to those built 30 years ago due to efficiency requirements.
Worst of all, after owning this appliance new for about 40 days and about 20 wash cycles, it now no longer powers on at all. I fully intend to reach out to warranty to rectify this problem when Whirlpool is open...it may just be a blown thermal fuse. However, this kind of quality control and product longevity is completely unacceptable for a new appliance, even one that was subpar to begin with.
I'm truly disappointed in this product.

We needed to replace our dishwasher. We didn't choose whirlpool for the brand necessarily, but because it fit our needs and the features were right. It's very quiet, and cleans very well. The middle tines on the top rack could be closer together, but we got used to it.

We had another brand that was only a few years old, but even since day one the other one wouldn't clean our dishes that well. We would prewash our dishes first before the dishwasher, basically rendering it useless. Once we bought this dishwasher, he haven't prewashed or done anything, and our dishes or spotless. We like that it accommodates larger dinner plates & trays, & that there's a dedicated spot for wine goblets. However, the dishes aren't ever totally dry after it runs, even if we wait for a couple of hours. It's very quiet though!

Haven't had a working dishwasher in over 2 years since we bought and started renovating our house that came with one. It was definitely time to replace and I'm so happy with this one! This dishwasher is super quiet! When I first got it, I had to keep checking to make sure it was still on. It has several wash settings such as Pots and Pans, Normal, and Quick which is one hour wash. Very easy to load and unload.I use the recommended rinse agent and my dishes come out Spot Free.

My husband ordered the dishwasher. He pucked the color I wanted and it looks nice. Dishes are clean. My only problem is it does not dry plastic dishes. I have to open the door and pull the top rack out for all the dishes to air dry. I called immediately from where he purchased and was told it says in the manual you get once the item is installed that it doesn't dry plastic.

I bought this about 3 weeks, and I love it. My dishes are very clean without having to do all the prewashing As before. It is very quiet. Also it is much bigger inside than my old one. It does take longer on the standard cycle, but I always run it at night, so that is not a factor for me. I highly recommend this one.
