I replaced a non-functioning 40yr old KitchenAid unit with this Whirlpool. Besides being happy to have a useable dishwasher again, this one is great. Saves me lots of water over the old model and is so quiet. I like the versatility of being able to put the silverware holder in different places. Adjustable top rack is a plus also. I didn't want a unit with all the 'bells and whistles' . This one still has a lot of optional features for different sized loads.

This dishwasher works better than our last one, which I believe was made by GE. However, there are two issues: dishes do not dry completely; the hard water in our area has eaten through the soap dispenser door. We need to have that part replaced.

This is the best dishwasher I have ever had!! I use the 1 hour wash and my dishes come out spotless. I never use the drying function and always open the door to let my dishes air dry. I would jot hesitate to by another Whirlpool dishwasher.

This is a great dishwasher! Have owned it for a month with no complaints. unlike our previous dishwasher, where we had to scrub each dish before putting it in to get somewhat clean dishes; this new Whirlpool requires no dish scrubbing. Everything comes out squeaky clean.

Le lave vaisselle semble bien fonctionner. Mais la trappe a savon s'ouvre tout de suite au premier cycle peu importe les options de lavage sélectionné et je trouve cela pas normale, je crois qu'elle dois s'ouvrir après le premier cycle de rinçage de l'appareil. J'ai appelé votre support et ils n'ont pas été en mesure de confirmer a quelle moment elle dois s'ouvrir.Merci

The machine we purchased is a very quiet one, which is nice--almost silent operation when it's cleaning dishes. However...(1) the silverware bay is inadequate, in our estimation. It is difficult to load if one follows the instructions that came with the machine; and there really isn't enough room in the silverware bay for our family's needs. Also, (2) the machine's capacity is smaller than the machine it replaced, making it necessary for us to either do dishes more frequently or else to use paper, disposable plates and plastic-ware, when we entertain family or company. We think that we probably shouldn't have purchased this particular machine, in hindsight.

This dishwasher does a good job of getting dishes clean and doing so efficiently. However, it has more drawbacks than redeeming features. It's not as easy to load as we thought it would be, due in large part to design of the racks. The silverware container on the door wasn't very well conceived, as we can't put anything too long (like a butter knife) in front of the soap dispenser, or the dispenser door won't open. In addition, water stays at the bottom of the silverware container, so that we have to wipe the silverware dry, when it's already supposed to be dry. Finally, the overall drying action is very poor, as water pools into the bottom of our coffee cups, and any other cup with a curved base, so that we have to dry them all before taking them out.We did not have any of these problems with our prior dishwasher, which was made by a competitor. But we were trying to save a little money and so we purchased this one instead of the same machine we had, which was still available. I definitely feel like we got what we paid for, and will just spend the extra money next time to get a better machine.

I bought this dishwasher a few weeks ago and I feel it was a great purchase! It is super quiet, and the dishes always come out sparkling even with a super full load! It has great features, including sanitize.It is very spacious inside with plenty of room for taller items.

I bought a competitors high end dishwasher 5 years ago. It needed serviced several times, finally replaced, then the new one broke down. Went to a local appliance store and owner was wonderful. He highly recommended this dishwasher at a more feasible price.At a minimum, it is used every other day. Very quiet and several operation options to choose from. Highly recommend this appliance.

Installed this myself about a month ago. I got a really good deal and to be honest I didn't expect as much for my money. We love the overnight wash setting. It uses less water and energy than regular wash and does almost as good a job as heavy wash. How it works: The unit soaks down the dishes and keeps them steamy warm for long periods of time making it easier for the rinse cycle to remove stuck on food.The silverware tote is built into the door making it impossible to load dishes and silverware at the same time.... but just take the tote out and put it on the counter for loading solves that problem.

I have had this dishwasher for one month and am pleased with its performance. It is relatively quiet and certainly does a good job of cleaning normally soiled dishes and tableware. It does have a rather long cycle, so I tend to run it when no one will likely be disturbed. My only minor complaint is that the upper sections on the sides are too narrow for some wide mouthed glasses and cups.

I love my new dishwasher. Seems like the designers have thought of everything when it comes to getting my dishes & glasses clean & spot free. It has plenty of room toput glasses on the top shelf. Love the little arms that hold down light weight storage containers. AND it is sooooo quiet! Oh, and the delay timer is a great feature. I always have good intentions of turning on the dishwasher at bedtime, but forget - not anymore!! I am very happy with my new Whirlpool dishwasher.

Had this dishwasher for a month. It was a year-end model close out so bought it for $299. It's probably good for rental properties in price and quality. The upper tray could have one side a bit wider for larger glasses and both side trays should "tilt" a little so the water doesn't accumulate on top of the glass even using the high heat setting. It says to add Rinse Aid to every load to help "dry" the items. The silverware is in the door which makes the door really heavy. They don't seem to clean as well as the dishwashers with the silverware drawer inside the unit. It's also a good idea to pre-rinse the plates a little before placing them in the dishwasher. It's an average dishwasher, but for the price it's acceptable and is still better than washing dishes by hand. It is a much quieter dishwasher than most and the controls are easy to use. The interior is gray but is light enough so it looks good...more practical than white. It doesn't show streaks like my stainless did so that's a positive. A good dishwasher for the price.

I bought this particular dishwasher because the price was right and I have learned to trust the Whirlpool brand. I have a Whirlpool washing machine that has seen 20 years of hard use and is still working fine. I really like all the settings on this dishwasher and I find it very quiet. It does a thorough job of cleaning the dishes and silverware. It also looks very nice.

So sorry I made this purchase. Machine doesn't dry well and silverware basket is poorly placed. Also, color grey inside machine doesn't make it easy to see when one is loading silverware. I miss my old but superior Kenmore.
