Freezer issues

I bought this model a in November of 2016. Over thanksgiving of 2019 I began to experience issues with ice cream in the freezer being soft. I Noticed the freezer door did not close properly so I contacted a repairman from the retailer I purchased from. The gasket and hinge were replaced. I paid about half the original price of the unit for these repairs. Unfortunately the unit is still not freezing properly. The temp remains in the 10-20 degree range (should be below 0). I followed the repairman™€™s advice and turned the unit off to let any frost or ice melt from the coils. Once again the unit is still not operating properly. Past units I have had have lasted well beyond 3 years. I refuse to keep throwing money to repairs that are not fixing the problem

Non removable Drip pan!!!! MANUFACTURED 9/16

I've had this refrigerator for a little over 2 years. I'm a new homeowner and it came with the house. It was fine until I started to notice a smell coming from the bottom. Looking further into it I figured out it was the drip pan. I figured I would just clean it but YOU CANNOT CLEAN IT PROPERLY because its non removable! Now I'm dealing with this terrible smell in my kitchen and I'm having to make makeshift brushes to try and reach to clean it out. So uncomfortable and unnecessary! I want to throw it out. I have spoken to someone and basically I'm stuck with this or by a new one.

Freezer going out?!?!?

I do not know who to contact about warranty issues. I tried to use the "Contact Us" page and it wouldn't submit. The refrigerator we got last year is having issues. I really don't understand why a fridge barely a year old sounds like it does! It is bad enough that the door magnets are weak and we always have to give each door an extra push to make sure they sealed. The sound from the freezer is a terrible noise and has woke me up in the middle of the night several times. The freezer is not only NOT frost free right now, it is making a horrible sound. I fear the freezer unit is faulty and getting ready to go out. I cannot remember the exact purchase date. My Father in Law bought it for us and he has lost the receipt. It was purchased at Lowes, Clarksville Indiana.

Good basic refrigerator without all of the bells and whistles that tend to be the problem areas. After reversing the door swing the door seals would not seal properly on the new hinge side of the door. One call to customer service and they quickly shipped me replacement seals for both doors.

We bought this fridge a little over a year ago because we needed to replace our old fridge. I picked this one because it was smaller and looked nice. The drawers on the door come off easily and don't hold much in the doors. I noticed white chips in the bottom of the fridge and the bottom is cracking. It has since split in half and I have no idea on how to fix it and cannot afford to purchase a brand new fridge because of a crack in the bottom. The glass is fine just the white plastic strip has broken off. Not too happy.

Even after properly adjusting the angle, the freezer door kept popping open. I eventually realized it was because of the rack on the upper shelf. Once that was removed the door was fine. Not having one of the two shelves is a minor inconvenience

This is a great smaller fridge that fits perfectly in my petite kitchen. There is plenty of room inside and I really like the top freezer. I™€™ve done the French door thing and it really makes you appreciate this traditional layout. Would definitely recommend.

This fridge is quite spacious and it holds a lot. The efficiency ratings are stellar and I even qualified for a rebate! The only real issue is the plastic shelves on the inside of the door are fairly flimsy and one fell off! Nothing a little duct tape couldn't fix, but it did make a mess of my kitchen! Still, I consider it a great value and worth the temporary inconvenience.

I bought this in July to replace my 15yr old side by side and I love it and so does my husband! There is alot more space and the door shelves are so much better. I moved the shelf with the snack bin to the bottom and it provides the perfect space for loaves of bread without any risk of them being smashed. I also love the glass shelves that prevent spills from spreading and makes it easier to keep clean. I would highly recommend this to anyone who doesn't want an ice maker or water dispenser. Excellent so far.

Good old style refrigerator

Very practical inexpensive but handsome refrigerator with freezer on top. Very quiet while running, note I did not install the ice maker. My only negatives are the lowest door shelf does not accommodate gallon jugs without popping off at times. The top door shelf can accommodate two jugs without a problem. Second the temperature is tough to get stable in a short range. The control is a traditional slide cooler warmer one not digital. Using a digital thermometer showed a range of about 5 degrees. Typically the unit waits and starts when the door is open.Positively the unit is deep and has alot of room. After 30 years of a side by side it is nice to have a roomy rather than narrow freezer. A real plus for me is not having to install the ice maker since I don't use ice. I would recommend this to anyone needing a simple box to keep things cool.

This refrigerator is so quiet I sometimes open the door to be sure it is actually running!! And I still can't get used to the depth compared to my previous fridge. Lastly, stainless steel is the best for the door when many family members are nosing around for something to nosh on.
