Stove Top Hard to Keep Beautiful

The oven bakes the best cookies and the stovetop does what i need it to do, BUT stovetop is hard to keep clean and shiny looking. I clean it with the recommended cleaner that is suggested in the owner's manual and only use stovetop to boil water and fry eggs in frying pan. I want the look that I had on Day 1; only have had the range for 10 days and the stovetop doesn't look beautiful anymore.

works great, Timer buzzer is kind of quiet. Offset front burner cuts into space that can be used for warmer burner (if have a large pan on front burner cannot set plates on warmer burner. The offset burner doesn't really allow for any large pan on back burner. Otherwise great range -

It's an expensive stove that's really just ok

We've been using the stove and it works fine. Is taken an extraordinary long time to get the break in oils and smells out of it the oven. Other than that it's quite expensive for what you get. I'd recommend saving a lot of money going with a different brand. Not happy with KitchenAid is they did not stand up to the rebate offer that was originally sold to us from our local Van Vreede's Appliance Center of Appleton Wi.

Not what I hoped for.

I don't like how you run the timer and preheat functions. On my old stove I just had to enter the time and it began. The same for preheating. This stove requires an additional entry by hitting the timer button again before the countdown begins and the start button before it begins to heat up. The oven seems to take an extraordinarily long time to heat up. Glass top scratches easily and hard to keep clean. Small dots designating burner placement is confusing and looks like something is on there- dirty. Timer 'buzzer' has one little beep. I'm not always right near the stove waiting for it to go off. I can miss it. The AquaLift Self Clean does not work. Fat from meatloaf leaked (about the 3rd time I've used the oven so it wasn't dirty to begin with). I'm on the 2nd cleaning cycle and it's a mess!!!! Yuck- doubtful I'll get it clean. It's going to take a lot of work.

I love the interior capacity of the oven, but it comes at the expense of a very small storage drawer. That is a fairly minor concern though. The only other thing we don't like is the markings for the heating elements are just a series of 4 dots. Makes it hard to tell where the element location is unless it's glowing orange. Would have preferred a clearly visiable circle surrounding each element.

high maintenance cook top.

Have been disappointed with the cook top. It is not easy to remove spills, and requires almost daily cleaning. Anytime the cook top is used, if there is even the smallest splatter, it has to be cleaned with the cook top cleaner, and usually has to be followed up with the more thorough paste, in order to completely remove all residue.

Does the trick! The sizes of the elements aren't really standard pot sizes, so it sometimes feels overkill to use the larger burners, but a smaller burner is too small. Oven works great, the broil is a little tough to get going, but it works. All in alll it's a great appliance and I have no regrets buying it.

Nice looking stove!

Still learning to use convection but it cooks nicely. The stovetop comes on quickly, but I need to learn how to keep it clean looking!

I bought Kitchen Aid in my new home based on experience. At my previous home my Kitchen Aid appliances, refrigerator, range, microwave, dishwasher lasted from 1992 to 2016 when a lightening strike took out the main boards of the range and refrigerator. Since the repair parts were unavailable, we replaced all units. Additionally, my kitchen Aid Instant Hot Water, lasted for over 20 years.

We've had this about 6 months. Very happy with electric range. This is my first glass top. I love it more than I thought I would. Easy to clean. I seem to get more even cooking with dual burners. Oven seems so much larger than previous brand. Just a satisfied a Kitchenaid customer. Pull out drawer under oven seems to be flimsy.

We had a white stove from the early 90's which had become a fire hazard! Our fridge died so we bought the fridge, oven and dishwasher in black stainless in this line. The reviews stated the whole stove/oven gets super hot while baking something in the oven. I'm not having that experience. While it does get warm, it doesn't seem dangerously hot. The burners warm up quickly when using but the oven takes longer than expected to get to baking temperature. So far, oven baking times are exact according to various recipes. Our old oven would nearly vaporize food if left the bake per recipe suggestions. This one is right on. Very happy with the purchase.

We bought this October 2018. We replaced a 2005 model that was still working fine but we changed to black stainless. Sadly I am not happy with this oven. It takes forever to preheat and hopefully your hearing is good because you get just one low beep every minute or so.

Love the size of burners and inside oven

Got this as part of a kitchen remodel 6 weeks ago. I love that 2 of the burners are expandable. The only thing I don't like is that the black stainless steel scratches very easy.
